Is the first Indian woman to get an offer to pose nude for Playboy magazine and appear on the cover. Mallika turned down the offer in an attempt to avoid the risk of being blacklisted in the Indian film industry.

The cost of the diamonds that Mallika wore at the Cannes Film Festival 2005 was Rs 45 million. They were sponsored by Orra Diamonds. Nine sets of jewelery were especially designed for Mallika, including diamond studded necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

Changed her name from Reema Lamba to Mallika Sherawat when she did her first film, Khwahish (2003). She claims to have changed it because there were already too many actresses in the industry with similar names like Reema Sen, Raima Sen, and Rimii Sen.

Ashish Chowdhry has received lots of praise from his friends and fans for this new look of his. Ashish had to tone down his very macho body for his role in 'Double Dhamaal'.

Ashish is playing multiple characters in the movie and for one of the characters he will be seen portraying this sexy woman trying to seduce Sanjay Dutt. Since Ashish himself has an impressive macho body, he and the director decided that he should tone down his body to look like a sexy chic.

I think, Ashish looks pretty sweet from the face in the women get up though his body does look quite broad even now. But compared to all the other men who portrayed female characters, he definitely stands out in a positive way.

I am getting a little tired of these item songs. It's like every movie must have a silly song where some actress is showing off her body, doing erotic dance moves and of course the lyrics are loosing their essence and depth.

What do we expect after - Unche se uncha banda, potty pe bethay nanga??? What sort of depth do we find in such creative lyrics?

Well, first came Munni Badnaam Hui. Then Shiela came to flaunt her jawani. Deepika's Dum Maaro Dum song is talking about shit and Razia is just plain cheap. Razia is not looking funny or hot. Just to get some hype and buzz, these guys have to have an item number.

In fact, I was going through the viewers feedback and most people didn't even like Razia at all. They feel its a mix of both Shiela and Munni. I definitely don't like the video. Mallika has looked hotter before, this is not her best looks for sure.

Of all these songs, I feel Deepika did look damn sexy in the Dum Maaro Dum although it's lyrics regarding crap were a major turn off but she did her part well.

Either they should make a really nice item song or spare us the torture because it is not really adding much value to filmmaking.

Also, if many felt that Mallika hadn't gone beyond her earlier item numbers like 'Maiyya Maiyya' (Guru) and 'Mehbooba Mehbooba' (Aap Kaa Surroor) after wasted herself in films like 'Hisss', then there is some redemption round the corner.

Thank You does not only have one item song with Mallika Sherawat but it also has an exciting item song, which is the remake of Jaanbaz's Pyar Do Pyar Lo. This song will be picturized on the four play boys. There will be a dance step in which the guys have to spank the girls because it goes well with the entire choreography. 

However, Bobby Deol has flatly refused to do this dirty dance step. Even when Anees Bazmi tried to convince him, he refused because Bobby says he is a married man and doesn't want to do anything extremely provocative on screen.

It seems Mallika Sherawat is making up for that long absence from Bollywood. Earlier on we heard that she would be doing 'Double Dhamaal' and now we hear that the actress has pretty much been finalized for 'Jism 2' & this is surely good news for her fans. There is so much room for improvement & growth in this particular character. I think Mallika is just the right choice.

It’s reported that Pooja Bhatt who's producing the sequel is counting on Mallika's bold turn to get this one rocking at the box office too.

Jism was a huge hit in 2003. I waited for Jism like anything, but it wasn’t that much fun. Maybe I expected too much. I wasn’t disappointed as such, but I didn’t like it. Some of the scenes were hilarious. But that song Jadoo hai nasha hai was awesome.

Jacqueline Fernandez is the new Mallika Sherawat in Bollywood.  The 26 year old actress is also appearing in the sequel of 2004 hit Murder. She very clearly told media that she is ready to shed off clothes if that is the requirement of the role and script because she is a very, very serious actress.

So Urmila Matondkar has finally taken over the Chak Dhoom Dhoom platform after Mallika Sherawat was ousted by the production team due to her tantrums and unprofessional attitude towards the recording of episodes.

These pictures are taken at Film City on the sets of Chak Dhoom Dhoom where we can see Urmila and the other judges. Urmila looks a bit healthy in these pictures, which is unlike her as she has always been quite smart all her life. I think she would do a decent job as a judge here.
